Scarborough Fair Posters
Scarborough Fair's wonderfully fresh posters advertising their range of Fairtrade certified products are a complimentary mix of subtle retro style with modern, very unshy text! Part of the "Marketing with a Middle Finger" campaign developed by Caroline Warwick - Lighthouse's Brand Manager - the posters' concept came from Jenna Wee and Sarah Gooding students at AUT who worked with Lighthouse Ventures (Scarborough Fair's parent company) to come up with these fabulous designs.
12 teams of AUT advertising students were invited to produce a design from Lighthouse Venture's brief to come up with concepts that "challenged the traditional message for fair trade advertising". Sarah & Jenna's 'demure housewife' design was chosen for the campaign.
"This creative allows Scarborough Fair to take fair-trade advertising in a new, modern direction, positioning the brand as a leading fair-trade rebel with a cause" said Caroline.
