ArTea Party II the Fairtrade Tea Party & Art Sale took place on Saturday 7th March 2009 in the sumptuous conservatory area of The County Arms, 345 Trinity Road, Wandsworth.
Thanks to everyone who came down to join the party and everyone who helped out on the day.
In addition to the profusions of tea & cake which tantalised taste buds, we sold locally made eco art & craft and many raffle and tombola tickets for fabulous eco prizes donated by our kind sponsors.
Alice, M. Hatter and friends enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!

ArTea [pronounced ar-TAY-ya] is an international, constantly evolving group of artisans who care about our planet. We want our creative work to do more than look aesthetically pleasing. We want to make our viewers think and make a difference to our environment, locally and globally.
ArTea was born in Auckland, New Zealand in the blustery late winter of 2007. A year and a half later the ArTea Party has journeyed to sunny South West London, UK where it has recently enjoyed a revival in Wandsworth.
We held the first ArTea Party on Saturday 23rd June 2007 at The Crib Bar in Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand. As well as raising awareness of Fairtrade and eco products available locally and promoting the need to support fair trade we raised funds for Oxfam NZ to assist in their work to alleviate global poverty.
7 local artists were involved in the first ArTea Party exhibiting and selling a variety of work including paintings, greeting cards, jewellery and photography.
If you would like to be involved in upcoming ArTea Parties simply drop us a line. We look forward to working with you.
